When the finest landscapes under heaven meet a united team, a story about coordination and innovation quietly unfolds beside the Li River.

The River Like a Green Silk Belt, the Mountains Like Jade Hairpins

In November, Guilin is still lush and green. MO teammates set out from Shanghai, Shenzhen, Beijing, Nanjing, Chongqing, Fuzhou, and other cities, gathering in this city famous for its scenery to begin a four-day "Guilin Landscape Journey" team-building trip.

From the Ming-dynasty heritage of Jingjiang Princes' City to the unfolding scroll above the Li River, from the lively atmosphere of Yangshuo West Street to the clear bamboo-raft waters of the Yulong River, every landscape became a vivid footnote to team cohesion.

On the first day, the team began a unique "friend-finding mission" at Jingjiang Princes' City. Holding task cards, everyone unlocked clues through tasks such as a science exam, intangible cultural heritage rubbing, and climbing Solitary Beauty Peak, searching for separated teammates inside the ancient palace complex. On the bluestone paths and beneath the upturned eaves, the air was filled with the joy of exploration and reunion.

In the afternoon, the team visited Jinpan for learning and exchange. Jinpan's modern production lines and lean management left everyone with valuable insights. In the lecture hall, we held an All Hands Meeting, reviewing achievements, looking ahead to the future, and building consensus through in-depth communication.

After returning to the hotel in the evening, a fantastic Hackathon innovation competition pushed the atmosphere to a high point. This technical event, themed "AI Empowers Efficiency Improvement," had all teams develop and innovate based on MO's own products. Ten teams fully unleashed their technical creativity within limited time, demonstrating innovative solutions for using the company's technology stack to solve real business problems.

After intense competition and rigorous evaluation, the top three teams were selected and awarded generous cash prizes. This technical marathon not only demonstrated the team's technical strength, but also reflected MOers' determination and capability to drive innovation with their own products.

On the second day, the team boarded a Li River cruise and began a journey through a landscape painting. A gentle breeze moved across the deck, distant green mountains looked like ink, and nearby blue waters were as clear as mirrors. Everyone stepped out of the cabin and chatted freely in the beautiful scene of "boats traveling on green waves, people wandering inside a painting."

Camera shutters sounded one after another as each group created check-in photos, cleverly combining team elements with the mountain-and-river background. As the cruise passed classic sights such as Yangdi Waterfall, Nine Horses Fresco Hill, and the Yellow Cloth Reflection, team members helped each other frame shots and completed a unique "landscape check-in challenge" together.

After arriving in Yangshuo in the evening, each group freely explored West Street. Beer fish, bamboo-tube rice, Li River shrimp cakes, mugwort rice cakes, and other local delicacies delighted everyone. Food photos from each group appeared from time to time in the WeChat group. Though everyone acted separately, it felt like a shared feast across distance.

Hidden Yangshuo: Collaboration and Progress

On the third day, the team went deep into Yangshuo and experienced bamboo-raft drifting on the Yulong River. Bamboo rafts moved one after another. Everyone admired the swaying bamboo along both banks and enjoyed the relaxed feeling of "a small bamboo raft traveling down the river," deepening friendship amid mountain songs.

In the afternoon, at the Shangri-La scenic area, each group participated in rich team-building activities and experienced distinctive cultures such as Dong grand songs and Miao dances in the ethnic cultural garden. Everyone carefully learned ethnic dances and completed challenges through teamwork, deepening their coordination amid laughter.

In the evening, team members either continued exploring West Street at night or walked together along the Li River, enjoying Yangshuo's unique night charm.

An Exploration Journey with Hidden Wonders

The fourth day's itinerary was even more exciting. During the free activity time in the morning, an exploration squad chose a more challenging activity: exploring an undeveloped primitive karst cave.

Led by professional guides, team members wore lighting equipment and entered the underground world. Inside the cave, stalactites appeared in many forms, while stalagmites, stone curtains, and stone flowers shimmered mysteriously under headlamp beams. Team members supported one another through narrow passages. This cave exploration tested everyone's courage and also demonstrated trust and collaboration within the team.

In the afternoon, all members visited the famous Silver Cave scenic area. Known as a "world karst cave wonder," the site amazed everyone. The cave's unique stalactites were crystal clear, like the Milky Way pouring down from the night sky, sparkling silver under the lights. The three famous scenic wonders left everyone reluctant to leave, bringing the journey to a perfect close.

United in Purpose, Writing a New Chapter Together

From the wisdom icebreaker at Jingjiang Princes' City to the innovation sparks of the Hackathon, from shy first encounters on the Li River to joyful food moments in Yangshuo, from primitive cave exploration to the wonder of Silver Cave, the four-day Guilin journey deepened friendships among the mountains and rivers and improved coordination through collaboration.

The beautiful scenery we admired together, the technical challenges we overcame together, and the moments when we supported one another have all become indelible parts of the team's memory. When Guilin's landscapes met team wisdom, and when the spirit of innovation met thousand-year-old culture, what we saw was not only a journey through scenery, but also a vivid portrait of a team united in purpose.

Landscapes have limits, but friendship has none. MO's Guilin landscape journey has ended, but the team's story is only beginning its next chapter. The coordination and trust built during this trip will continue into future work, helping the team create new achievements on the journey ahead.
